LESSONS

At Big Oak Stables, we teach basic horsemanship, grooming, groundwork, western riding and barrel racing lessons.  We have a round pen, arena, and trails on our property.  Each student will be taught with care and a desire to see him or her grow in equestrian skills and as a person.  We promise a challenging and fun environment.  Lessons are available for ages 8-adult.  NO LESSON SPOTS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

Private Lessons: $55/hour. Paid monthly. ​

Private lessons are done on a one-on-one basis.  This allows your child to receive extra attention in order to grow quickly in his or her skills.   Each lesson will be specific to your child's needs.

Group Lessons: $40/hour. Paid monthly. 

Group lessons include 2 to 5 students in the class. This is a fun way to interact with the horses and other students.  This option provides the adequate attention your child needs to improve his/her skills, but is not as personalized as the individual lesson.
